How This Blog Started

Think of it like this:

Setting-
Crop night at local(ish) scrapbooking store Crafty Scrapper, Friday night, 6pm to midnight

Characters in conversation-
Other People "AND WHAT THEY SAY"
Me "as in what comes out of my mouth"
Me (in my head)

I am making a page. "THAT IS A NICE PAGE" "thanks" (tee-hee, I got a compliment...yaay!)

"NO, REALLY, IT'S REALLY GOOD" "thanks" (I'm an artist, I'm an art teacher... You know this and would expect nothing less.)

"YOUR PAGES ARE ALWAYS SO GOOD, HOW DO YOU DO THAT?" "I dunno" (it could have a little something to do with that art degree i have...)

"YOU MAKE IT LOOK SO EASY, HOW CAN IT GO SO FAST FOR YOU" " ....sorry?" (years of learning about and using the design process applied to two pages at a time?)

"I WISH I COULD DO THAT" "you can" (no really, you can...)

Subsequent 30 minute conversation (give or take a few rambling tangents) about how if people just understood the basics (insert late night long-winded explanation of color theory) they really COULD do it.

"YOU SHOULD WRITE A BLOG" "I should!" (I will! Now how to organize... Random thoughts about design as I go, types of art creation, one design basic at a time. Do I fully explain each as I go... Oh goodness, I better get started. This is going to take a while.)
